FITNESS CLASS

Fitness Class: Monday through Thursday @ 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm & Friday is 5:00 pm to 6:00pm (Year round program)

Irving PAL's fitness class is the entry level class for most of our participants. Our kids train for 1 1/2 hours, both inside and outside the gym, with water breaks given periodically. Majority of the workouts include body weight exercises such as push ups, sit ups, squats, jumping jacks, etc.  Other exercises include the use of jump ropes, medicine balls, box jumps, weights and pull up bars. Running is an essential part of fitness and about 30 minutes is devoted for this cardiovascular exercise. Participants should dress accordingly depending on the weather.
